» PRODUCTS - PAD MOUNTED PACKAGE SUBESTATIONS

Since they were first conceived, the evolution of transformer substations has been marked by a number of factors:
Cost Saving:
Aimed at simplifying building work and reducing assembly time.
Size Reduction:
Through making its components more compact and reducing the size of systems.
Safety and Environmental Impact:
Increased safety, both for operators and for people in general, and reduced environmental impact have been a constant in the technological evolution of transformer substations (overhead power feed replaced by underground networks, increased security against accidental contacts, elimination of toxic and polluting agents...).

A CTIN is an integrated transformer substation, whose description is contained in the Supplementary Technical Instructions of the High Voltage Regulations (MIE-RAT 1; def. 84): “Mass produced, factory designed and constructed facility that includes transformer, high voltage switchgear, interconnections (cables, busbars, etc.) and, if applicable, low voltage switchgear and auxiliary equipment in an enclosure, to supply low voltage power from a high voltage system”. If the enclosure is metallic and the component items are not functionally independent, the substation is called an “Integrated Transformer Substation”.

The Incoesa Integrated Transformer Substation (hereinafter CTIN) includes the transformer and all the electrical components of a transformer substation inside the same enclosure, in accordance with Standard UNE 61330.
